Coach Profile:
Kevin Garner
 

As a youngster he played for Crewe Alexandra F.C and Lincoln City Academy as well as North Lincolnshire College in the British Colleges and Universities League.  After moving to the states Garner played for Rochester College where he served as Captain and earned All-American USCAA honors. Kevin's education includes English FA: Fitness for Football, Sports Leadership Certification, NVQ Level 1 Sports Safety and Coaching Techniques, BBA Sports Management and FA Psychology in Soccer Level 1.  

Kevin is the former Head Men’s Coach at Rochester College and led the Warriors to their best ever record of 12-3-2 in 2013. He also led the MFC U18 Girls team to a state championship in 2013 as well as reaching the USL U-20 National final. Garner also led the MFC girls team to the USYSA Region 2 semi final in 2012 and 2013 getting knocked out both times by the eventual National Champions.  He worked for several years with the Michigan ODP program heading up a number of different age groups, as well as working on the Region 2 Staff. 

Kevin and his wife, Leah, have three sons: Liam, Joey and Matthew.
