Simon Omekanda
 

Simon played high school soccer at Rochester Adams and led them to a State Championship in 1999 and finalist in 2001.  Simon was named "Mr. Soccer" Player of the year) and Michigan Soccer Gatorade Player of the year in 2002. During this time he was also an Olympic Development Player from 1998-2002 and a member of the US Youth U17 National Team from 1998-99. As the #7 prep recruit in the country, he went on to play at Penn State winning a Big Ten Championship and being named first team All Big Ten twice in 2005 & 2006.

In 2007 Simon was drafted 46th overall by the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer. In 2008 Simon went on to play pro soccer in Sweden (Swedish League Champions 2008) and Belgium.

Simon has been a coach/trainer for children and teams ranging from 4-14 years old through various soccer clubs and leagues for many years.

Simon is also currently the owner of "Mentality Approach Performance" soccer camps.
