Michael Sheehy
 

Mike is a former outstanding youth goalkeeper in the State of Michigan playing for the Famed Vardar III ’72 Soccer team.  He led that team to 5 State Championships, 3 Midwest Regional Finals and 1 National Championship.  He played collegiately at Oakland University (1990-93) and has professional playing experience with the Detroit Wheels (1993-1995).  He has over 30 years of goalkeeper playing experience at all levels of the game. 

Mike is a staff member of the Michigan Olympic Development Program and owns Five Star Goalkeeping LLC which is a Goalkeeping Training Service that conducts Goalkeeper camps and clinics throughout the State of Michigan.

Throughout his coaching career, Mike has proved very successful in helping numerous goalkeepers and players attain college scholarships for their on and off field performances.  He is recognized as one of the leading goalkeeper coaches in the state of Michigan. 

Mike is a lifelong resident of Farmington Michigan, and is heavily involved in the Michigan soccer community.

NSCAA State, Regional, and National Goalkeeper Licenses
